The U.S. men’s national soccer team has added a second game to its November visit to Europe, securing a Nov. 14 friendly in London against Colombia, one of the surprise teams in last summer’s World Cup.

Colombia won its group and advanced to the quarterfinals in Brazil before being ousted by the host nation. But that performance was good enough to push the South Americans to third in the current FIFA world rankings.

“Colombia showed in the World Cup that they are one of the top teams in the world,” said U.S. Coach Juergen Klinsmann, whose team will meet Ireland four days later in Dublin. “Overall it’s a squad with a lot of experience playing at the highest level and this will be another great benchmark for us.”

The U.S. is unbeaten since the World Cup, having defeated the Czech Republic in Prague in September before playing Ecuador and Honduras to draws earlier this month.

The Colombia match will be played at Craven Cottage, the iconic home of English Premier League club Fulham. The Americans will then conclude their 2014 schedule against Ireland.

The locations of those games will make it easier for Klinsmann to call up his Europe-based players.

The U.S. will enter its final two games 6-3-4 for the year.
