PGA golfer Hunter Mahan has sold his golf course home in Coto de Caza for $1.68 million.

The Orange County native put the home on the market in November at $1.799 million and accepted an offer in early January. He paid $1.52 million for the property in 2008, records show.

The Tuscan-style residence centers on greenbelt and water views from its location behind the 12th hole of the south course at the Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club.

Built in 1999, the stucco and stone home is entered through a circular foyer and features a step-down living/dining room area, a center-island kitchen, four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in 4,800 square feet. A family room with a fireplace and an exercise room area are among the amenities. Off of the master suite, a private balcony offers views of Old Saddleback.

Outdoors, grounds of more than a quarter of an acre contain an infinity pool, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen and a putting green.

Mahan, 32, has two World Golf championships and a total of six PGA tour wins to his name. He recently inked an endorsement deal with Ace Hardware.

Debra Kovacs of Century 21 Award was the listing agent. Kevin Kallenbaugh, a broker at Northstar Financial Services Group, represented the buyer in the sale.

With the Coto house sold, Mahan and his wife, Kandi, have one other property currently on the market. The couple, who are expecting the birth of their second child, currently ask $9.5 million for their custom home in Preston Hollow, Texas. The 16,655-square-foot estate features a golf simulator, an indoor basketball half-court, a subterranean garage and multiple swimming pools.
