The 2014-15 season, which will be announced on Monday, is set to begin in October and will feature an eclectic line-up of theater, music, dance and children’s programming. In addition, the center is inaugurating a series devoted to lectures and conversations with prominent cultural figures.

The line-up represents the Wallis’ second full season since it opened its doors to the public in 2013. In July, Lou Moore, the organization’s executive director, abruptly stepped down from her post over what she described as a difference in vision with other company leaders.

“Into the Woods” (Dec. 2 to 21) is a revival production of the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine musical that is currently running at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The staging is directed by Amanda Dehnert, and isn’t related to the version from Fiasco Theater that was recently seen at the Old Globe in San Diego.

The production is scheduled to run at the Wallis just prior to the Christamas release of the Disney movie adaptation of the musical.

“Dunsinane” (March 27 to April 12) by David Greig will come to the Wallis in a production by the National Theatre of Scotland and the Royal Shakespeare Company. The 2010 play picks up after the conclusion of Shakespeare’s “Macbeth.”

“Enter Laughing -- The Musical” (Feb. 10 to Mar. 1), a stage adaptation of the book by comedian Carl Reiner, will run at the center’s smaller Lovelace Studio Theater, along with “Satchmo at the Waldorf” (May 26 to June 2), a show about Louis Armstrong and written by theater critic Terry Teachout.

As part of the season, the Wallis will also present the “Harry Potter” parody “Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience – A Parody by Dan and Jeff” (Feb. 25 to March 1). There will also be a return of “Love Noel: The Letters and Songs of Noël Coward” (Dec. 5 to 21).

The Wallis’ classical music offerings will include a concert with Branford Marsalis, with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (Oct. 16). The season will also feature performances by the La Scala Chamber Orchestra, Brentano String Quartet and Russian pianist Igor Levit.

Dance offerings will include appearances by th Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal; the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company from Israel; and the Afro-Brazilian contemporary dance company DanceBrazil.

Leon Panetta is scheduled to appear (Oct. 15) as part of the Wallis’ new conversation series. The former CIA director and Secretary of Defense’s new book, “Worthy Fights: A Memoir of Leadership in War and Peace,” is set to be published this fall.

The series will include an appearance with TV talk show veteran Dick Cavett and other names to be announced later.
