Small brush fire reported in Griffith Park
Park rangers this afternoon have reported a small brush fire in Griffith Park near Travel Town. The fire covered about 3 acres at about 2:15 p.m., according to an alert from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Fire officials at 2:45 p.m. asked the California Highway Patrol to shut the east- and westbound ramps to Zoo Drive.
Calls to fire authorities were not immediately answered.
