Breastfeeding is an effective form of birth control IF done right. you need to be exclusively breastfeeding your baby (nothing besides breastmilk, not even water) 8-12 times a day, including during the night. If you do that, it should be effective until you get your period back. the doctors should have told her though. you would think someone would sit down with her and talk to her about family planning.

I had a baby at 16, It made me way more responsible, way more alert to what i was doing and it made me go back to school. So all you dumb asses who say its not good, Trust me it is, I love my son hes the center of attention of everyone i know including his father who is four years older then me. I think she is a great person for living with the consequences of her decision to have sex. The majority of people don't have the strength to do that (live with consequences). YET beacuase of medical reasons... but me and myhusband are just fine... we both come from disfunctional families...doesnt mean we have to raise ourchildren that way.. some of you people need to just grow up and catch up with time.. younger people are having babies everyday yeah some shouldnt but not all! I am extrememly happy being married and having kids so young... but we also have a future ahead of us.. age doesnt mean everything now a days i know some older women who deff. shouldnt have had children and they come from well respected and wealthy parents!! if this is what jamie lynn wnats go for it if not she'll make the right choice! she knew wha she was doing... shes probably just tired of everyone ragging on her!

If she is pregnant again what is going to happen is that she'll never learn her lesson and she'll have more kids.

Well guess what to all you ppl that want to talk about teenagers having babies I was 16 when I got pregnant and 17 when I had my son and now 18 and pregnant again...Me and my husband are happy about having another baby and we are raising our son and when our next baby is born than we will raise it as well...My parents taught me about sex and did what they could and I still have my son...If it wasnt for him I dont know where I would be...You all keep talking about these teens that can't take care they babies but how bout these women in thier 20's or 30's still not taken care they babies...Well that is just all I needed to say

I can't believe this girl she's suppose to be a role model to young girls like the ages of 8-12 at least. I think you all need to mind your bussiness and dont worry about what happens with them. If she wants to have 30 kids, she can. That's her bussiness. She can afford it and she obvisouly dont care what other people think.

We need to forget the fact that she is so young and look at the fact that she may be having children so close together. My Grandma had children right after the other and now her womb has dropped because of having children so closely together. if this continues with Jamie this could be a possiblity for her!

i dont see why everybody is making such a big deal out of all of this. everybody has children everyday. age doesnt define how good of a parent you are either for all the people mentioning her age. i have plenty of friend that are living, just them and their boyfriend, and they are great parents. and most of them are 15 or 16. age doesnt mean anything. and if she wants to have another baby, that is great. having a baby is an amazing thing and nobody should get in the way of her having a happy family. so everybody on here bashing her, seriously just grow up and let her raise her family. dont you have something better to do than to bash some person you never met before and probably wont.?

and anyway she is married, so i dont see why people have a problem with married couples having children. you people are so judgemental.
