Kate Hudson is OK with sharing her mane man
Kate Hudson admits she has to share her man.
No, not her rumored new squeeze, Lance Armstrong.
Her longtime mane man, David Babaii (pronounced Buh-Bye), who also does Sarah Jessica Parker's long blond hair, along with Hudson's L.A.-based colorist Negin Zand.
When did they meet? "David and I first met through my publicist Brad Cafarelli when we were both beginning our careers, and David had just graduated from Vidal Sassoon," Hudson is quoted saying at a launch party for her hair care line with Babaii. "I needed a blow-dry or something and he was available. Not much later, I was going to the Golden Globes and he knocked my hair out of the park for that night. But now I have to share him because he's become a man of many women."
Their new shampoo and hair care product line was launched at ABC Carpet & Home this week. It's eco-friendly, benefits the Global Wildlife Conservation organization, and is reasonably priced ($11.95 for Bohemian Beach Spray to $119.95 for a hair dryer and flat iron).
"The beach spray is the one I carry around with me - literally," said Hudson. "In fact, David just put it in my hair tonight to fight the humidity."
"I don't test on animals, I test on Kate," Babaii revealed.
Now there's an idea whose time has come. Product testing on celebrities. I like it!
